Corinthian-Casuals 0-2 Kingstonian

Kingstonian

K's perilously close to safety after a fine win at King George's Field.

Kingstonian lie six points clear of the relegation zone with two games remaining after an excellent 2-0 victory over Corinthian-Casuals at King George's Field.

Ibrahim Bangura opened the scoring in the 15th minute with a supreme strike from outside the penalty area, whilst Tom Collins finished off a fine move involving David Nyarko and Darnell Goather-Braithwaite with a cool shot in the 62nd minute.

Corinthian-Casuals found themselves down to nine men a straight red card for Sean Agun in the 73rd minute for a challenge on Michael Abnett, whilst Simba Kudyiwa followed him with two minutes of normal time remaining for a late one on Sean Bonnett-Johnson.

Defeats for both Bowers & Pitsea and Herne Bay this afternoon have put K's into a strong position at the wrong end of the table, however whilst there's still a possibility for both those clubs, there is still work to be done. Kingstonian's last two games are away to Cray Wanderers on Saturday and home to Hornchurch on April 22nd; Bowers and Pitsea are away to Hornchurch on Saturday and home to Hastings United on April 22nd, whilst Herne Bay visit Wingate & Finchley on Saturday before hosting Bishop's Stortford on April 22nd.
