Club Statement

The following statement has been issued by the directors of Kingstonian Football Club.
We received an approach in 2022 from a group of supporters (calling themselves “Kingston Bridge Holdings”) who were looking to invest in the Club and enhance the existing board by joining and working alongside it.
Meaningful discussions with the group commenced and continued accordingly.
However when their final offer was recently received it exceeded the terms of these discussions, was unacceptable to the board and subsequently withdrawn by the group.
It is the Club’s policy not to publicly discuss nor disclose the details of private and confidential negotiations with potential investors.
We do not intend making any further public comment on this matter and consider it to be closed.
We have also had discussions with other potential investors and last week appointed a new director to the board, who will provide relevant experience and support in our meetings with Kingston Council regarding a potential new ground for the Club within the borough.
The existing board of directors are strongly focussed on this project and continue to be committed to taking the Club forward.
As a non-league club we remain extremely grateful to our dedicated group of volunteers, who selflessly give up their free time, not only on match days, to assist the Club.
We urge all of our fans to get behind Simon Lane, the management team and the players and give them your full support in our remaining two important League matches.
