Cheshunt 1-0 Kingstonian

The performance is better, but the result remains the same.
Kingstonian's run of poor results continued frustratingly after Cheshunt won a tight game of few chances with a 71st minute goal from Rowan Liburd.
It was an improved performance from a K's team struggling for confidence and they will be disappointed by the goal that they conceded when a through ball saw Jamie Reynolds race through on his own, only to be heavily tackled by the onrushing Serine Sanneh - the ball bounced nicely to Rowan Liburd, who passed the ball into the empty net from about twenty yards out - the type of goal that a team on a long winless run frequently concedes. K's were unable to get back on equal terms and as a result suffered their fourth consecutive defeat, lengthening the winless run to eight.
Arguably the K's deserved a draw from this performance, but football is rarely a fair game...
Kingstonian will go again next Saturday when they host Folkestone Invicta at King George's Field for a 3pm kick-off.
