Chertsey Town 0-2 Kingstonian

Kingstonian

A good early evening's work for the K's at Alwyns Lane.

Kingstonian scored their first victory of the 2021 pre-season with a 2-0 win against a decent Chertsey Town team in an early evening 5pm kick-off at Alwyns Lane.

It took quality goals either side of half time to win the game for the visitors, with Jason Banton opening the scoring in the 40th minute and then Daniel Ajakaiye sealing the contest in the 73rd minute. There could have been more goals but the K's found Chertsey's goalkeeper to be in top form as he made a number of fine saves.

It's another unusual start time for our next game next Saturday 17th July when we visit Grays Athletic. Kick-off at Aveley's Parkside stadium will be 2.00pm.

And don't forget that we have tickets on sale for our first home friendly on Tuesday 20th July against AFC Wimbledon, go to https://kingstonianfc.ktckts.com/ in order to secure yours!
