Charity Event This Sunday

Adam Thompson

The event at King George's Field begins at 11am, with the football match kicking off at 1pm.

On Sunday 10th October at King George’s Field there will be a charity Event including a Big Football Match supporting The Chris Donovan Trust and The Emily Ash Trust. The Chris Donovan Trust charity was set up by Ray & Vi Donovan after their son Christopher was beaten to death on the Ewell Bypass 20 years ago in an unprovoked attack. They have spent the last 20 years working for Victims rights and preventing offenders from continuing a negative path of crime with outstanding results. The Emily Ash Trust supports families that have a child diagnosed with Cancer by providing Trips, days out and so much more in order for the entire family to create memories and forget their current stress with Free Events.

The Big Football Match will include K's Legends: Adam Thompson, Carl Wilson-Denis, Mark Hams along with other ex-pro footballers Ian Selley, Andy Gray, Jamie Byatt, Marvin Elliott, Lewis Taylor, Chris Horwood & Ricky Newman and other key local sponsors across the x2 teams. We will also see the return of former manager Alan Dowson who will manage the K's All4Charity Utd...Fighting Cancer team with John Salako managing the opposition Utd2Help FC...against Violence which will contain the Corinthians Legends.

The Big Stalls & Activities including: Massive inflatables area with unlimited use option, Build Your Own Bear Stall, Face-Painting, Balloons, Ice-Cream Van, Gourmet Griddle tasty food, Local Police and Local Fire Brigade with Music from The Surrey Soul Singer.

Then an After Party including DJ sets so we can all meet the players and join together as a community and celebrate raising money for these charities.

Please come along, support an event by Not-For-Profit organisers Community Together Utd which is fully supported by both great clubs as everyone comes together to provide a Family Fun Day for You. All this for just £3 (per adult), £1 (per child - 5-16) and Free for concessions and under 5's (Please note some stalls carry additional costs)
