Bognor Regis Town 2-4 Kingstonian

Kingstonian

Outstanding K's win first game in ten outings with super win at Nyewood Lane.

Without a win in ten matches, without even a league goal from their last five games, Kingstonian moved out of the relegation zone with a magnificent and deserved 4-2 win away to Bognor Regis Town.

Imran Kayani scored the first goal with a tremendous strike in the 28th minute, before the Rocks quickly equalised four minutes later when Dan Gifford netted a rebound after a Rob Tolfrey save. However, parity lasted just two minutes before Jacob Bancroft scampered down the right wing and crossed for debutant Alex MacAllister (on loan  to slide in and give his new team the lead again.

K's took a stranglehold on the game in the 70th minute when goalkeeper Lloyd Thomas felled Imran Kayani in the penalty area, the K's number 11 got up and emphatically put away the spot kick. Nathan Odokonyero gave his side some hope in the 91st minute, converting from close distance during a stramash after a corner, but substitute Ibrahim Jalloh sealed the deal in the 94th minute with a magnificent solo run from the halfway line and a composed finished to give K's their fourth goal and confirm a memorable victory.

Next up is a big game against Herne Bay on Wednesday evening, kick-off at Imperial Fields will be the usual 7.45pm.
