Bishop's Stortford 1-2 Kingstonian
Two long range strikes enough to claim three points in Hertfordshire.
Kingstonian are now unbeaten in their league seven Isthmian League Premier Division matches after a 2-1 win away to Bishop's Stortford.
The visitors enjoyed most of the possession in the first half and deservedly led at the break after a long range strike from Reece Hall in the 35th minute.
Two minutes into the second half, Sean Clohessy crashed home Kingstonian's second, finishing off a slick move with a spectacular laser blast from an acute angle outside the penalty area. Not too long after that, another excellent team move finished with Reece Hall narrowly missing the target.
The longer the second half went on, however, the more the K's let Bishop's Stortford into the game, and they allowed the home side plenty of possession to enjoy. Finally, in the 89th minute, Sean Clohessy brought down a Blues' forward in the 89th minute, allowing Jamie Cureton to score from the resultant penalty. K's did see out most of the remainder of the game, but were extremely thankful to Rob Tolfrey for an outstanding save in the fourth minute of added time, denying player-manager Cureton a last gasp equaliser.
K's will next be in action on Saturday afternoon when they visit Cheshunt. Kick-off is at 3.00pm.
