Bedford Town 3-2 Kingstonian

Bedford Town

Frustration at the New Eyrie as K's take the lead twice but still go out of the FA Trophy.

Kingstonian's run in the FA Trophy is over at the first hurdle after a 3-2 defeat in Tuesday's replay at Bedford Town.

K's took the lead twice in this game, only for the Eagles to immediately equalise - in the first half Elliott Buchanan's 17th minute opener was cancelled out a minute later by an 18th minute Dan Walker goal.

Then in the second half Alfie Doughty gave the visitors the lead once again in the 62nd minute only for Matty Harriott to equalise in the 64th minute. The pattern was broken in the 71st minute when Jermaine Osei scored a fine goal in the 71st minute which ultimately won the tie for the Eagles and gave them a trip to Chipstead in the Second Qualifying Round.

This result now means that K's will visit Burgess Hill Town on Saturday 10th November as originally scheduled.
