Ashford Town (Middlesex) 3-1 Kingstonian
Kingstonian's latest match in their mid-season tour saw the Tangerines win with better finishing.
Kingstonian's third match in this unusual mid-season set of friendlies saw them fall to a defeat at the hands of Ashford Town (Middlesex).
The Tangerines took the lead in the 12th minute when a Dan Brown shot was well saved by Rob Tolfrey, but the rebound was mopped up and put into the net by Kane Fitzgerald.
Five minutes into the second half, Ashford doubled their lead when a free kick was partially cleared and promptly volleyed home by centre half Dale Burnham.
K's came back into the contest temporarily in the 56th minute when a cross from the right by Juevan Spencer was headed in by Andre Coker, but the two goal deficit returned in the 58th minute when the Tangerines launched a counter attack, and a through ball found midfielder Harry Woodward, who ran on and finished from the edge of the penalty area.
K's are next in action this coming Tuesday night when they visit Merstham for a 7.45pm kick-off.
