Another trio joins the K's

Kingstonian

Three new players commit to the K's for the coming season.

Kingstonian can confirm the signings of three players - forward Korrey Henry, winger Kieron Cadogan and attacking midfielder Fumnaya Shomotun.

Korrey HenryKorrey Henry, pictured here when he joined Merstham last season, started his career in West Ham United's youth section and made four appearances in the English Football League for Yeovil Town in 2018.

K's manager Lee O'Leary said of Korrey: "I'm delighted to have secured the services of Korrey, he's coming to us off the back of a fantastic goal scoring season where he scored 14 league goals, mostly for Merstham as he had a short spell at Carshalton Athletic too. He's of good physique, is still only 22 years old and has great pedigree having come through the youth system at West Ham United and having also played at Yeovil Town, Welling United and Braintree Town previously."

Another player to make a short-distance move is experienced winger / forward Kieron Cadogan. Kieron is a former Crystal Palace man who made 25 appearances for the Eagles. Subsequently he has played for the likes of Aldershot Town, Barnet, GAIS Goteborg and Sutton United before moving to King George's Field during the 2019-20 season.

K's boss Lee O'Leary said: "Kieron is a superb signing for us, he has outstanding ability, is strong, adds valuable experience to our side and, most importantly, has great game intelligence. Kieron has played hundreds of games at all levels from the Championship, League Two, Conference National, Conference South and many local football supporters will know him playing for our near neighbours Corinthian-Casuals in our league, where he has excelled. I'm really pleased that Kieron has chosen to join us and look forward to working with him."

Fumnaya ShomotunOur third signing is attacking midfielder Fumnaya Shomotun, a Nigerian-born player who has previous Football League experience with Barnet and has also seen action with Hayes & Yeading United and Wingate & Finchley.

Lee O'Leary commented: "Again, I'm really pleased to sign a player of Fumnaya's quality, he's a fantastic attacking midfielder who I'm sure K's fans will love. Again, he's a good age at only 25, and has great pedigree, having been a pro at Barnet, playing for them both in the National League and League Two, as well as having experience at a host of good non-league clubs such as Wealdstone, Hayes & Yeading and Wingate & Finchley (at Wingate he played for my assistant, Spencer Knight).
