Hastings United 2-1 Kingstonian

2 weeks ago By Kingstonian FC

Some things rarely change - K’s going out of the FA Cup early is one of them.

Kingstonian’s interest in the FA Cup has ended after their first game.

Hosts Hastings United moved into the Second Qualifying Round with a 2-1 win over the K’s. Three goals in five minutes did the job - former K’s man Daniel Ajakaiye opened the scoring in the 16th minute before Manolis Gogonas blasted in a screamer three minutes later.

However, two minutes after that, Sinn’Kaye Christie took advantage of a poor piece of defending by scoring from close range.

K’s had several huge chances in the second half to equalise but to no avail, and K’s will have to wait yet another year for an FA Cup dream.
