Despite two setbacks in the first eleven minutes, Kingstonian took home all the points from their Bostik League Premier Division game at Enfield Town.
The game started poorly when Marvin Elliott twanged a hamstring and was forced off in the third minute, something rapidly followed eight minutes later when Tyler Campbell opened the scoring for the Towners.
The lead did not last long as Connor Hunte scored his first goal for the K's with a long range effort in the 24th minute. The K's rode their luck at times, not being afraid to use both the woodwork and Rob Tolfrey to keep them in the contest, and were rewarded in the 67th minute when Andre McCollin gave his team the lead. The points were confirmed in the 88th minute when Jerry Amoo were fouled in the area, he picked himself up and put the penalty away for his first K's goal.
K's now go into Cup action at Fetcham Grove on Wednesday when they will be the visitors for a Surrey Senior Cup Second Round tie against Leatherhead - Metropolitan Police are awaiting the result as they will host the winners in the quarter-final.
