After taking an early lead thanks to Kane Haysman in the 16th minute, Kingstonian imploded for the rest of the night as Burgess Hill Town battered the visitors for the rest of the game to deservedly win 5-1 at the Green Elephant Stadium.
When Kane Haysman prodded home Aaron Goode's shot early in the piece, it confirmed a good start for the K's, but then things went badly wrong for the rest of the game.
Brandon Diau got the equaliser in the 23rd minute capitalising on a defensive error, before Pat Harding gave the Hillians the lead in the 43rd minute after another gift from the K's.
Whatever was said at half time in the visitors' dressing room went straight out of the window when Diau got his second in the 51st minute with an unchallenged header from close range before completing an excellent hat-trick eight minutes later.
Aaron Smith-Joseph completed the rout in the 75th minute as the Hillians easily broke the record for their biggest win ever over Kingstonian.
The hoops will hope to re-group on Saturday when they visit Harrow Borough, kick-off at Earlsmead will be 3.00pm.
